1 Offering the voluntary prayer at home is superior to offering it in public.
Dumrah narrated on the authority of his father that the Messenger of Allah ( may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said :
offering the prayer in a congregation is twenty-five times superior to offering the prayer alone and the superiority of offering the voluntary prayer at home over offering it in the mosque is like the superiority of offering the prayer in the congregation over offering the prayer alone “
