Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him) reported the Messenger of Allah (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as saying,
“The imam is responsible and the mu'adhdhin is trusted. O Allah, guide the imams and forgive the mu'adhdhins.”
