supplication of the Angels

  • 1 To receive the supplication of the Angels

    `Ali ( may Allah be pleased with him ) reported

    that he heard the Messenger of Allah ( may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) saying: “Whoever prays Fajr, then sits in the place where he has prayed, the angels will send blessings upon him and their blessings upon him will be: ‘O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him.` And whoever waits for the prayer, the angels will send blessings upon him and their blessings upon him will be: `O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, have mercy on him.”

  • 2 To receive the blessings of Allah and the supplication of the Angels

    It was narrated that ‘Aishah ( may Allah be pleased with her ) said:

    “The Messenger of Allah ( may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) said: ‘Allah and His angels send blessings upon those who complete the rows, and whoever fills a gap, Allah will raise him one degree in status thereby.’”

  • 3 To be included in the supplication of the Angels

    Abu Huraira ( may Allah be pleased with him ) reported:

    Allah's Messenger ( may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ) as saying: The angels invoke blessings on every one among you so long as he is in a place of worship with these words: O Allah! pardon him, O Allah, have mercy upon him, ( and they continue to do so ) as long as, the ablution ( of the worshipper ) is not broken, and one among you is in prayer and so long as he is detained for the prayer.
